Science Centre was interesting today. It changed quite a bit from when I was there last (Which granted was about 8 years ago). It's still got all the fun bits, but it has moved away from the edutainment factor to a more interactive education experience. At it's core it still had the fun, awe filled amazement of science, but it has tilted more towards the science aspect than the fun aspect. I have to say I was a little disappointed.
Unfortunately after we got through the Science Centre and Toronto traffic, we only had about an hour to spend at the ROM. The Royal Ontario Museum is always an amazing spot, and one hour doesn't do it any justice at all. If I had to recommend one place to go spend your whole day, from open until close, it would be this Museum. It has artifacts from many different parts of the world and their all arranged in a very straightforward and in a way that makes sense.
We only had time to breeze through the Chinese exhibit, and run up to the Egyptian Dynasties before they kicked us out. We were consoled by all you can eat sushi down by my dad's place. We are now terrified by the prospect that to get through the rest of the province of Ontario is more distance than we've covered so far. I think it's going to be long days of driving ahead.
No pictures today because I forgot my camera at home.
